Kambala is an annual competition held in Karnataka where people run 142 meters in the fields with buffaloTraditionally, this was sponsored local Tuluva landlords and households in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

In an interview with local media, Srinivasa said, “People compare me to Usain BoltHe is the world champion, I just ran in the muddy rice fields”
Through another tweet, the Minister of Youth and Sports of India also said that Srinivasa was on his way.
